What's the best fight scene in a movie?
My vote? This one from Jackie Chan's Armour Of God:
Watch it full-screen if you can for best effect!

Ok so, by comparison to the most recent movies, it's not the most fluid or athletic, but Luke Skywalker V. Darth Vader in Empire Strikes Back get's my blood pumping everytime.
It's about his friends. It's about his fears. It's about his family(though he doesn't know it until the end). And even with a missing hand, he's still defiant.
The lighting. The atmosphere. Vader acting like a juggernaut against his own kid.
Pure melodramtic awesome in a can!

I'd go with Obi-wan vs Darth Maul from the Phantom Menace. Speed, Lightsabers, Sounds, Man getting cut in half by another man. What more could you ask for?
Another one (for those who have seen it) is the fight scene in Ong Bak in the cave at the end. PROPER AWESOME!!!!!! Some may even say it's pant moistening.

Neo has just met with the Oracle and is then ambushed by a squad of Agent Smiths, in which Neo uses what is either a wash pole or a flag pole and beats the seven shades our of the Smiths

Robocop/Murphy vs. Robocop 2/Cain -Robocop 2, my favourite mechonoid fight until TF came out, plus its mostly stop motion and effects, a testament to all the artist involved- savage stuff!
Patrick Swayze and Sam Sheppard clearing the bar in Roadhouse.
Blade vs Nomak - Blade 2, a ful on superhuman fight staright out of a comic page where they destrioy the scenesry and each other.
Bruce lee vs Chuck Norris- Way of the Dragon, nuff said.

Patrick Swayze and Sam Sheppard clearing the bar in Roadhouse. You mean Sam Elliot? Any film Sam Elliot is in is automatically cool just cause he's in it. Expect of course if Nicholas Cage is too. That just cancels it out. I'd have to go for Morpheus v the Ghosty thing on top of the truck in Matrix revolutions. That whole road scene in that film is fantastic

Yeah that scene rocks but the bruce lee chuck norris one was the qualitee to the qualitaa.
Rigg vs Mr Joshua was a good one at the end of the first lethal weapon but some of the greatest were in jet li's Fearless.

It's not about the man ass(or "mass" as I like to call it). It's about the macho men finding their feelings and bonding while killing several ethnic bad guys!
