Gave Spiderman 3 another go. A lot better now I've realised I didn't *need* to play through that crappy bomb segment. Still a cack game though. Isnt it a free roamer? Like GTA? The only good Spidey game was the first one on PS1.

It is a free roamer but there's bugger all to do. I did a tour or New York but it's so un-detailed that everything looks the same. You can't interact with average people and the cars just kind of drone around the city brainlessly. I'm on the Wii version though, so it probably couldn't handle more stuff going on.
It's got me worried coz Prototype (which I'm starting to get excited for!) is done by the same people and looks sort of similar.

Yeah Spiderman 3 was a bit of a let down, kinda like superman returns.
THat was a serious case of "lets make superman so awesome that he doesn't really have any good enemies to fight".

i'd say he would if they gave him good enemies. Like Superman returns had some good features like moving at sonic speed and breaking the sound barrier but it needs more such as good enemies better A1 and smoother fighting skills.

He was in a dreadful SNES Superman game called "The Return Of Superman" I think... Its about the comic ark where he's killed by 'Day and returns. It was a Streets of Rage type game, except rubbish. The visuals were good though.

Superman would work best on the Wii right now. If they did it as mini-missions, had plenty of unlockables, instant full powers and if you fly by tilting the Wiimote about like a Superman action figure in flight, then it'd rock. (as long as the visuals and camera were done well)
The only really good Supes game I've played was the 80's arcade one with Superman Red and Superman Blue. That was brilliant. Wish they'd re-release that.
