I've come across some entirely enjoyable oddities in my time as a casual gamer.
Bishi Bashi Special - 100's of multigames converted from a Japanese coin op for you to enjoy at home. Very hard to find. Should've never sold it. HUZZAH though as it's now available on the PSN.
Kurushi Final - You are Abel, stood on a row of cubes, floating in space. As the cubes raise up and start coming towards you, you have get rid of them to make your way through to the end of the row. Hard to explain. Brain busting stuff. I played this so much I started dreaming about the solutions.
Gitaroo Man - Dance Dance Revolution type game where you play a guitar playing superhero who must fight UFO's, Robots and Goth weirdos using the power of RAWK!
Anyone else got any?

There's apparently a Grudge game coming out... it don't get much odder than that!
It's even being developed by the director of the films.

Had a briefly thing for PaRappa the Rapper, mad stuff.
Anyone remember Bubble Dizzy on the old Commodore? I do. Pure gem. Had some quirky stuff on the Saturn, biggest quirk and one of the best out there still for sheer score attacking, NiGHTS into Dreams. And Panzer Dragoon Saga, still haven't seen anything in the 10 years following it that is remotely like it. Lets not also forget Death Tank that came as an extra on Duke Nukem 3D.
Hexic on the 360 is a cool puzzler too, pity there aren't many puzzlers like this and Bust a Move any more.
Add Prey to this list too, the first time I had to walk uip a wall and on to the ceiling, I had to go back and do it again just in case I saw it all wrong
Space Channel 5 was a bit like Gitaroo man, had to defeat aliens with sexy dance routines and good reporting!

Anyone remember Bubble Dizzy on the old Commodore? I do. Pure gem. oOK! That reminds me of Blitz. One of me first favourite games! You're this aeroplane that passes over skyscrapers dropping bombs, and each time you go a little bit lower. You need to bomb the tallest buildings first or you crash into 'em. The Commodore 64 was pretty damn awesome in it's day. ;D Panzer Dragoon ROCKED!!! I can still remember being well-impressed by its opening film... cute l'il dragon baby thing! And the gameplay was brilliant!I saw a video of that on youtube once. Looked weeeeeeeeeird!
