Just looked at youtube vids of auto assembly. We should consider a big ol TFIO nerd herd heading there next year! Funny you should say that, I was talking to Jay about arranging a nerd herd over to Botcon around the time of the 3rd live action movie. Sunny America or "Sunny" Birmingham. Decisions decisions.

"Sunny" Birmingham. Far easier a trip to arrange.

True. I'm still aiming for Botcon. With ALL the trimmings. I want an over hyped boxset of slightly modified toys from 10 years ago to add to my collection.

That is a lethal idea I've never been to Botcon and around the time of the 3rd movie would be top notch.

Why not do both ? With Ryaniar flights to birmingham wouldnt break the bank and From what i can remember the cost of the con is nothing huge

How much in total would it cost to go to botcon, flights, accomadation, food , passes and of course buying transformers? Someone on these boards mentioned that they had went this year?

I agree that Auto Assembly is an easier and more managable fate for most of us here. Auto Assembly doesn't hop venues as much as Botcon, and Botcon tends to be on earlier or later some years, not to mention it's not as easy to plan it around our own holiday plans
