U2, No Line on the Horizon and Static-X Cult of Static. U2's one I didn't really like at first but it's growing on me. Static-X is raw, dead raw and better for it since their overproduced sound has been done to death no

The mp3 of this:
Heard it yesterday and been playing it over and over... think it's driven me a bit mad.
It's okay though, the invisible squirrel says he will protect me.

Yeah! They've got a really quirky thing going on. Almost like a retro 80's Samantha Fox-meets-The Killers type vibe. Hadn't even heard of them til the other day!

She looks a bit like a cartoon squirrel caught in headlights. She's only got one expression.... I was surprised they're a Manchester band. Her voice sounds like an Essex girl when she's singing.
They both work well together. Do you know which band they were in before they went off to do their own thing?

She doesn't sound Northern at all at first, but the more you here her, the more you can hear the Salford comin' through on some tracks.

So what's the best track on the album? Not My Name is iconic. I can see that becoming a really big pop anthem when it gets out more. Just Let Me Go (think that's the title?) was awesome too. You can listen to it over and over. Great DJ was good but didn't have that lasting factor for me...

Thats Not My Name was a hit towards the end of the year. They've released 4 or 5 singles off that album. We Walk is my favourite off the album. Good use of music and beat. Clever video. The song you're asking about is called Shut up and let me go!

Currently listening to "Title", the music that first plays when you install Windows XP. It's lovely. Before that it was Gomez's How We Operate, and before that a BBC audioplay version of Dracula.
