Foo Fighters - Pretender This and My Hero are their finest songs to date.

I've never been too keen on My Hero. I'd switch that with maybe Learn To Fly.
Breakout is pure awesomeness too. Hell, the majority of the Foo's stuff is pure blimmin' brilliance.

I'm not a huge fan of them in general. They seem to have a lot of potential that they show on their records with songs like Generator, Stacked Actors, My Hero, Evelong, I'll Stick Around, Pretender, but then it's saddled with alot of B-Side fodder, in my opinion. That being said, when they hit, they hit hard.
They're sorta like the Smashing Pumpkins in that respect.
I'm currently listening to "Begging" by Madcon.

Agreed, Foo Fighter's do have a lot of filler at times.
Listening to Savin' Me - NickelBack. LOVE the video for it! Very neato.

I really like that song, but I'm not keen on the band.
Listening to The Exies' cover of Talking Heads' Once in a Lifetime. Before that was Kermit the frog's version. Freaky.

"Show Me What I'm Looking For" by Carolina Liar. These are ones to watch! Listening to that now. It's a bit samey for the most part but the big chorus bit at the end with the choir is really good!

I really like that song, but I'm not keen on the band. Listening to The Exies' cover of Talking Heads' Once in a Lifetime. Before that was Kermit the frog's version. Freaky. A fellow Exies fan? I'm intrigued... I've been checking out Carolina Liar on their MySpazz. They seems good enough. They remind me of old school 60's hippy rock like the Mamas and the Papas. Which suits me for those relaxing summer days(if we ever get sum). This might be controversial, but Green Day are doing my effing head in with their new song. For the last 10 years, since the under-rated Nimrod record, they've been recording and re-recording the same goddam album!!!!!!!!
