Ok so you lot got me to watch Black Books, so in return hers afew series i enjoyed. I only get to catch up with stuff on DVD or if anyone gives me lend of downloads, so most ot these are available.
Supernatural.- Great fun, great premise(although it reminded me of a film called Frailty), great cast, 2 brothers are thrown back into each other lives to continue the family tradition of hunting Demons, ghost, monsters and urban legends! Its a mini monster/ghost/horror movie every week with an over all bigger story being carried thruout. Currently on series 4.
The It Crowd- The funniest thing in years in my opinion, 3 series and counting.
Battlestar Galactica- Drama meets Space :Above and Beyond. Everything from genocide to warpdrive to suicide bombings to Cylon Centurions, it runs the gambit!
Farscape- Jim Henson's team meets Star Wars with a hint of Buck Rogers thrown in for good measure!
Time Gentleman Please- Plain old Dirty fun!
Red Dwarf- Some of the most usable quotes ever.
Blackadder- all of them
Coupling- the dirtyier London based version of Friends!
South Park/Family Guy- Nuff said!
ALF- got all the eps on a boxset few yers back, classic!
Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles- gave it a shot and once you get past the time travel gimmick that cancels out T3 it not too bad- going to get started on watching Series 2 soon.
Robot Chicken- Anything that involves toys and the ability to fall around laughing is agood thing!
Garth Merengi 's Darkplace- a series about series about a cancelled series! you have to see it to believe it!

I also recommended Robot Chicken. It's sometimes hit and miss because we just dont "get" some American specific jokes. But when it hits, it hits big. Particularly their ET skits.
Ally McBeal is fantastic. Funny, sarcastic, neurotic, touching. Very well written.
Spaced, for obvious reasons. One big pop culture in joke.
Phonejacker. Hilarious prank show.
The American Office. Season One was ropey, but all subsequent seasons have been hilarious.

Respectable - channel 5 sitcom about a brothel. Jodie Albert spends the whole series wearing lingerie, the woman who owns the place is a foul-mouthed pensioner dominatrix and the demented immigrant dominatrix is frickin' HILARIOUS. She could have a show of her own she's so funny. Really good series that only lasted for one series/season. It's out on dvd.
Bear's Tail - another one that's rude, crude and only lasted for one season (and a christmas special, which was the best episode). It's by the guy who did Bo Selecta and is likewise out on dvd. The demented woman from Respectable is in this too, in one of the tv segments. In one episode there's also a mad Star Wars spoof with Mel B, Craig David and Michael Jackson in all the parts.

King of Queens is great. Old school in style, but very sharp at times. And besides.... Leah Remini. Mmmmmmmmmmmm....

Saw that Respectable a few times when it was on Paramount comedy, the aul one was filty!
Couple of others i enjoyed are:
Not going out- very funny
Life on Mars- The Sweeney meets Back to the future, set in the 70's about a cop hit in a car crash who wakes up in 1973, is he dead,in a coma, or travelled back in time?? watch both series and find out. havnt seen the spin off Ashes to Ashes yet or the American remake.
The American Office- as pointed out by others it gets better.
Im a bit behind on Heroes season 3, have to sit down and catch up from the start again.

I dont know what it is with me and Paramount comedy at the moment, but im having naughty thoughts about Daphne and Roz from Fraiser, Debra from Raymond, Carrie and the blonde from King of Queens, and Elliot from Scrubs.......sometimes all at the same time!!

If they ever get around to making an A-Team movie, they HAVE to have Jason Lee as Murdoch...
Speaking of nice TV girlies, Nigella was back on the box last night. I know she is nearly pushing 50 at this stage but she can make me breakfast any time she likes!!

I know it's probably obvious but some folks still haven't given Beast Wars a chance. I started watching it again yesterday and I can't recommended it enough. If you skipped BW for whatever reason, you owe it to yourself to check out. Starscream, Optimus Prime, a upgraded Ravage, the maniac Inferno.... There's more G1 to this than meets the eye. It's so bloody good.
