Couple of new Dvds arrived yesterday in time for my downtime. IT Crowd series 3(this is the funniest thing ive seen in years, got all my mates into it) the new Futurame movie Into the wild green yonder, and the marvel animated Hulk Vs..., this one is made up of two 45 min movies,Hulk vs Thor and Hulk vs Wolverine. Both are non stop no holds barred action ,and are not for saturday mornings kids! they not totally violent, but wolverine does get to let loose! The thor story deals with Loki kidnapping Banner and transporting him to Asgard where he unleashes the Hulk in an effort to take out his stepbrother Thor and father,Odin, then conquer Asgard. its good, lots of superhuman action,a trip to the Underworld, and Maljinor laying the smackdown alot. Hulk vs Wolverine is the highlight of the set! Darker, more violent,2 unstoppeable/indestructable forces let loose in the canadian mountains, lots of refences to their comic battle scenes, some straight from the drawings, blink and you miss Todd mcfarlanes cover of wolverine snarling with the hulks reflection in his claws! This one is set before the Xmen days and takes in Wolverines origin and as a bonus, the Weapon X program. lots of cameos here, and the first animated apperance of Deadpool!! along with Hulk and Logan,he is the best thing in it. Some greta action for a pg-13 animated feature about Marvel guys as Wolverine slashes thru a team of security guards armed to the teeth! keep watching to the end of the credits for an extra scene!
Also got Supernatural season 4 and the Justice League:new frontier movie.and Resident Evil:degeneration to check out when i get chance.

I might check those out buddy. I always enjoy kicking back with a feature length animated movie every so often. The last ones I watched were Superman Doomsday and the retro styled Justice League.. apologies, I'm not fully up to speed on these titles!
The Superman one was very enjoyable and the JLA one was outstanding, at least I thought so anyway. Then again my enjoyment meter is set relatively low!
I watched the first half hour of Punisher War Zone last night, seems a bit rubbish to be honest. But I'll watch the remainder tonight anyway just so I can tick it off my list!

I finally got round to watching Wanted and Hancock over the last few days, I enjoyed Wanted for what it was and Hancock IMO is one of Smith's best films.

Agreed, though they're doing a sequel which may be overdoing it a bit.
Today I watched the new eps from season 13 of South Park. Brilliant, they're on top form. Season 12 started off dodgy but picked up at the half-way point and s13 is keeping that going. The Spirit/Dark Knight spoof ep was great! I want a figure of Cartman in superhero mode.
Currently watching Kung Fu Panda. So far it's great. It feels like watching an old Jackie Chan/Bruce Lee film. They captured the feeling perfectly!

That is pretty awesome! My wife and I went to see this when it was in the cinema and we both loved it.
I love kung fu films! Have fallen out of the way of things in recent years but I always try and check out new martial art flicks every so often.
I recently watched Chocolate and loved it. I also watched a film called Fighter which was very, very good.
Am looking forward to District 13 part 2.

I watched the Watchmen yesterday (see my clever phrasing?)
I really enjoyed it, although at least five or six people walked out before the end.

Whut?!? Why?!
I really can't believe people are hating this film. What were they expecting? Madness, it is. Madness.

I watched the ep of The Simpsons where they visit Ireland and Homer and Grandpa buy a pub.
Man, did that suck. Worst episode of The Simpsons I've ever seen. That show's really lost it's funny.

I haven't watched the Simpsons in years. I was going to make an exception for the Irish one, seeing as how everybody was making such a fuss over it, but I had this fear that it would be about as Irish as a "Murder She Wrote" TV movie. Didn't bother in the end. Saw semi-pro the other night. Will Ferrells ok usually, but this was the biggest pile of sh*te I've ever wasted time watching.

Whut?!? Why?! I really can't believe people are hating this film. What were they expecting? Madness, it is. Madness. I'm hoping to catch Watchmen this week. It's pretty hard to penetrate. Some people might be expecting something as easy on the mind/eyes as X-Men or Batman Begins. Not a psycho analysis of heroism and govenment. I watched the ep of The Simpsons where they visit Ireland and Homer and Grandpa buy a pub. Man, did that suck. Worst episode of The Simpsons I've ever seen. That show's really lost it's funny. I was actually slightly offended by the intelligence of the episode. Apparantly, Ireland is about 300 square metres in size and in one day, you can go to all four corners of the country with relative speed and ease. Nonsense. Family Guy did a much better job. The Simpsons has been rubbish for years. And Fox know it. The movie, the change of opening titles for the show. They're trying to rejuvenate it. But it's on it's way out.

It's a sad day when Family Guy, a complete rip off of The Simpsons, is more funny and better-written than... well, The Simpsons.
South Park still blows them both out of the water though. As did King Of The Hill when it was on.

As a life long hardcore Simpsons fan( tattoos, comics, complete collection of action figures, etc,,) ,i do the think it has past its heyday these days the comics are better than the episodes, bring back Conan O Brien to write/produce!! The Coon episode of South Park was a return to form, but Imagination land is the new standard set for Trey and Matt to beat !! its joy overload! Really enjoyed the Futurama movies(season 5).hopefully they sell well and we get more. Family guy recently has started to slip, but still hilarious.
