And I think that they never officially named that girl in Wolverine as Emma. Maybe it her Daughter? But yeah, First Class was very good, even with Fassbender turning Irish in last half hour!they must have started filming before he had chance to study McKellan!

just finished the millennium trilogy, the girl with the dragon tattoo, the girl who played with fire and the girl who kicked the hornets nest. first movie was excellent ans stayed close to the book, the second movie i felt had pacing issues and needed an extra half hour to tell a better story, vital parts were missing in my opinion, third movie is, like the first, as spot on as possible. finally starting to get into these movies and tv box sets, still have kick ass, season 8 of 24 and season 1 of the walking dead

Seen X-men first class and Pirates.
Pirates was great fun and hopefully the start of a new trilogy, glad depp got more time as Captain Jack.
First class was good but a bit everywhere, everything links well enough so far, Hvok is supposed to be scotts dad( in this continuity0. Briefly seen a child storm which flows as xavier met her when he was young and she was older than scott in the x-men movies. All of the x-men served a good purpose except for Beast . IMO he seemed to be placed there as just a big name for fans and regular movie going folk that would be familiar with grammars perfect portrayal. I love Beast as a character but Hoult wasn't the most believable as him.
Sets up nicely for Nightcrawlers origin too with azazel and mystique in the brotherhood.
Fassbender was exceptional and really the best part of the movie, he explained his accent in recent interviews, he said magneto is a man of the world, always travelling so his accent would be a bit odd and everywhere, historically holocaust survivors came here so it's plausable plus in the movie Magneto fluently speaks three languages which can always damage a natural accent. He was a better Magneto than mc kellan imo as he was far more dark and lighthearted at times that his push to the dark side was believable. Magneto isn't necessarily evil either, just misguided, good intentions but for the wrong reason with anger and anguish compelling him so I felt Fassbender was incredible.
Mc avoy was very good but his imitations of austin powers at times was.....disturbing.

Just saw X-Men:First Class the other night, and really enjoyed it.
Magneto is one of my favourite Marvel characters, and Fassbender did a great job.
As for the 'continuity errors', i think it's best to disregard X3 and XMO:Wolverine (Singer had nothing to do with them) - plus, they're shite...

I think fassbender surpassed willem dafoe as a marvel villain and up until now willem as norman osborn/green goblin was incredible. Fassbender was brilliant as Magneto and for me until fassbender portrayed Magneto I always thought ah he's not that dangerous but fassbender made him very dangerous
