Watched two thirds of Wolverine. It's good but feels very much like a fan-film. The narrative's a bit loose and messy. The whole thing feels like a big budget 80's action b-movie. The type of thing with Chuck Norris headlining it.
Also watched half of The Spirit but turned it off halfway through. It was annoying me - especially every scarlett johanson's scene - and I couldn't be arsed to follow it through to the end.

Some stills did. It seems like big dumb fun. But I'm still recovering from the depth of the Dark Knight. Eye candy might be a nice change.

It's an excellent film but the last 45 minutes are a bit drawn out. Like imagine if there was 2 boats on the liffey full of the d4 heads and the mountjoy heads, reckon there'd be an emotional crisis on board?

Watching the '70's version of Salem's Lot on youtube right now.
Oooooooooooooooooooh, it's creepy! Been ages since I watched it and not sure if this is the full tv series version or the cut-down movie version.

I saw Zak And Miri Make A Porn. Really good. There were some shocking moments in it, which was cool.
Now re-watching Don't Mess With The Zohan. Love Adam Sandler movies!

Over the last couple of days I saw Fred Claus (liked. Lots of Superman references that I wasn't expecting! Some *really* nice slay-ride shots too!); Get Smart (Loved it! Used to watch the tv show as a kid and this got enough of the show in to make it feel right. Really likeable filum!); Definately, Maybe (didn't dig this as much as I'd thought. I like Working Title romantic comedies usually but this was a bit bleurrgh in places. Other bits were good though. Ryan Reynolds was phoning it in a bit in some places.).
Also saw the trailer for Sherlock Holmes. Veeeery unimpressed. Seems like the typical ladies-man action adventure thing, which really isn't Holmes' style. Still, as a period action comedy it might be fun. Wonder if they'll do an action figure line...

Last night I watched two Master of Horror flicks. The John Carpenter one Cigarette Burns Enjoyable with some good gore and a great score but a mhhh! ending. and Hecklers tale which is Zombie porn in every sense of the word. As well as Phantasm IV. Such a Stupidly fun movie. Who needs to watch 2 and 3 when Four gives you all the good bits from it. Without any of the shit.
